The Appian Way, did not have a chance to see it when in Rome a few years ago. It occurs to me that the closet thing we will ever have to this in our country is Route 66, which exists only in spots now. There is a great preserved stretch of it in Kingman, AZ, but we’re talking about the Appian Way, not Americana!
