"VISIONS OF THE NIGHT." That's what Bible prophets called some of their vivid dreams. Some folks today wonder if the spiritual world still occasionally uses dreams as a way to deliver heaven's message.

A FEW MINUTES AFTER MY BROTHER DIED of COVID-19 on December 30, my sleeping sister dreamed that he came to her with a message.

What he told her makes this seem like more than a dream.

If it’s not a glimpse into heaven, it sure seems like an incredible coincidence.

This is the story of the dream.

My wife bought your book “The Complete Guide to the Bible” for our 12 year old granddaughter so I was researching your name having encountered your work in the past personally. Nice work I want to add. Very approachable for non-theological types.

I am sorry for your family’s loss of Cliff! Thank you for sharing such a personal time. Thank you for sharing your mom’s response, Louise’s surprise and Pam’s vivid dream.

I wept with you, I understand deeply all that you related and I can testify to the truths you experienced.

Limiting God’s expression to us His creation is not something I practice much anymore since I have let God open up the wide vista that He is laying out for all of His creation that is in the process of being redeemed.

I am a the greatest doubter, born with a scientific minds with capacity to lock onto facts and categorize them into a strong materialist worldview. So much so that even coming to believe that all things taught from the Bible could be relegated to the creative writings of Moses for instance an educated Hebrew in the court of Pharaoh who would naturally draw upon ancient Mesopotamian writings and worldview synthesized with oral tradition learned from his own mother. Yes, in arrogance and self I could walk away from God. Jesus was my best friend but now it is just a myth.

A person like me in that state of mind would not really comprehend a loving God, a divine being as a reality that would not let His own child walk away.

So God didn’t but in time in a directed way that only God could know, He helped the blinders to fall away from my eyes and I was rejoined to Him again as I was when I was first born again as a teenager.

When you related the part of the story that you too wished to have your own personal validation, your own encounter to enliven your being towards Heaven and then you said the thought came to you “What do you think Pam’s dream was?” then you related it to how Jesus would often answer a question with a question.

I know that Voice too. It is the same one that I really practice listening to now. Sometimes it is quiet and reassuring and sometimes it is powerful and stirring!

Thank you so much Mr. Miller for taking the time to share this story.

I will share your family’s story with others too, some who love Jesus and some that do not know Jesus’s love. God’s love. The Holy Spirit’s love.

    Thank You!
