THIS IS A BIBLE MAP EXPERIMENT that will cost me. In the ballpark of $100.
I’m going to give away a Bible map mounted on canvas to someone selected by one of my grandchildren who can’t read, but who can circle a random name with a crayon.
This experiment will also give me clues about which maps you folks like best.
You see, I don’t know what map I’m giving away yet. One of you will be selecting it.
Here’s how the map giveaway works
1. Pick a map you like
Go to the Casual English Bible’s dedicated search engine for finding Bible maps. Type in the names of Bible places or people. Pick out a map you would like to have mounted on canvas.
You can also browse through the many flipbooks you’ll find here and at the offerings in the Map Store. There are about 500 maps out there, so don’t overdo it.
Some of my favorite maps are at Bible Maps as Art, which is what inspired this experiment.
2. Tell me which map you picked
Email me or use a contact form on this website or at the CasualEnglishBible.com. Give me your name and the name of your map. A link to the maps or a picture of it would be great. Then I can’t make a mistake.
Voila. You’re entered into the giveaway.
3. One of my grandchildren will pick the winner on my birthday, August 3, 2022
I’ll give a grandchild a crayon and say, “Sweet like holy child when you’re sleeping, circle a name.”
And it’s done.
I don’t know what size the map will be. It depends on which map you pick. Most work out to be around 12 to 20 inches. You can see a sampling on the Bible Maps as Art page.
If this giveaway were a book, the odds would be in your favor. But since it’s custom-made for the Casual English Bible® and it requires a license to be published anywhere else, the competition might be a little stiffer.
I’m curious to see what you’ll pick.
By the way, you have a choice: a map with or without place names. I like naked maps. I think they’re prettier.
If you’re interested in this, do it now. You’ll forget about it later.
Peace to you.
