HALF THE COUNTRY IS HAPPY they got the president they wanted.
They should rejoice and give thanks, if not repent…as the other half may think they should do.
The disappointed half has reason to rejoice, as well.
They should be happy that as far as the president-elect is concerned, they don’t have to put up with it. They can speak their mind, risking little more than a retaliatory tweet.
We can all rejoice no matter what brainiac or buffoon sleeps in the White House.
“Tell all the nations, ‘The Lord reigns!’
The world stands firm and cannot be shaken” (Psalm 9:10 NLT).
To Americans, Happy Thanksgiving.
To other citizens of the world, I hope you can find reason to be thankful today. If it’s too tough to do that right now, given what’s going on in your life, I pray that God will send someone to you with a message of hope…whether the messenger comes in person, in an email, or even in a memory.
Peace to you.
