HERE’S A PEEK at what I’ve been up to lately.
I’ve been paraphrasing the Book of Revelation, and creating support material such as maps. (The map with this feature is an early attempt that I’ll polish later.)
I’ve finished the the first draft my Casual English Bible paraphrase of Revelation. I’m working now on the discussion questions, leader’s guide, and atlas.
The leader’s guide is tougher than the paraphrase, I’m discovering. It’s one thing to describe locusts with human heads and lion teeth. It’s another thing to try and make sense of it.
Normally, I finish the entire project of each Bible book: paraphrase, leader’s guide and atlas. Then I post it online.
If I do that this time, I won’t have Revelation up for a few weeks. I’m just about halfway done with the leader’s guide, and I’m just starting the maps. I’m also taking a break to celebrate 40 years with a wonderful wife.
But I’m toying with the idea of posting the paraphrase of all 22 chapters of Revelation next week, along with the footnotes, and then loading the leader’s guide discussion questions and maps later, as I finish them.
Any preference?
