“It was about noon when everything went dark. Darkness covered the whole area for about three hours, until about 3 o’clock…Jesus screamed out loud, ‘Father, my spirit is in your hands now.’ After he said that, he took his last breath.” Luke 23:44-46 Casual English Bible

Stephen I write,”Outside of the box” Bible studies, but don’t let that scare you. I’m not a Word Smith with the English language, but I have interesting insight into Bible typology. I believe that it’s a gift from God that goes with my HDHD.???? I’ve been sharing my articles with friends and family but should I be sharing them publicly if I plan to publish them?

Hi, James. No. If you want to publish them in a book or in some other format, don’t publish them online. Here’s an example. I’m working on the Casual English Bible paraphrase. It’s free online at CasualEnglishBible.com, along with accompanying footnotes, maps, and discussion questions. If ever I decide to submit it to a publisher, I’m pretty sure they’d make me take it offline. Why would we expect someone to buy our book if the contents are free online? Good luck. You’ll need it. All writers do.
