Kosher birds

Jewish law allowed God’s people to eat most birds, including chicken, turkey, and duck. But no scavenger birds or birds of prey: falcon, eagle, or hawk. They weren’t kosher. See Leviticus 11. Understanding Jesus, p. 172.
