Merry Christmas to winners of the drawing

A LITTLE AFTER MIDNIGHT on Friday, I randomly selected names of 21 people who would win gifts.

Top gift: Kindle Fire HD. Additional gifts: 20 free books.

I chose the names from all four of my social media hangouts: Blog, Facebook, Twitter, and my Newsletter. But 2/3’s came from the Blog subscription list.

He had to get through 2 levels of random selection.

He had to make it into the top 21 names, which were chosen with the help of a simple math formula.

Then he had to survive my wife’s pick of a random number from 1 to 21.

She picked 18.

Wayne’s name was number 18 on the list of 21. I counted from the bottom upward–something I had planned to do before my wife picked the number. I wasn’t tilting the slot machine.
