IT’S A PRAYER REQUEST for little bro, Cliff.
Three weeks on a vent with COVID-19, he failed his first spontaneous breathing test yesterday. He lasted 15 minutes breathing on his own, I am told. He needs to last 30.
Another test today, likely. A third one if needed. Then I think onto a tracheotomy. That’s what I understand, from a distance of 800 miles.
Normally, I’d have a Christmas message out to family and friends and something Christmassy here. But after losing our youngest brother in June to a heart attack, it doesn’t feel especially merry at the moment.
That could change. May it be so.
A Christmas Miracle?
I know, a lot of them are needed this year.

I just saw your article Steve and a spontaneous prayer immediately escaped my lips asking the Lord to heal Cliff completely and grant him joyous times of refreshing with family and friends post-Covid. May your family begin to offer up resounding and spontaneous praise and thanksgiving to the Lord, who is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords who alone grants us the desires of our heart. May the Lord show you and your family great compassion and may Cliff’s miracle of healing provide continual thanksgiving to God in every place that his miracle is heard of. May it be so. In the name of Jesus Messiah! Amen!

And the big brother said, “Amen and absolutely.” Merry Christmas, Lorna. God bless us, every one.

Praying for that miracle! May God, our great physician, lay His hand on Cliff and heal him. Praying for all the healthcare workers who are working with your brother – may God guide them in their knowledge and experience, and give them the wisdom they need to handle this situation. May God give you and your family the comfort and strength you need at this time while you wait on His perfect timing.
In Jesus name, Amen.
