Q
Luke says that “Satan got inside the head of Judas” (Luke 22:3 Casual English Bible). Other Bible versions translated “Satan entered into Judas” (New Living Translation). What do you think happened? Did Judas become demon possessed? Or did Satan simply plant an idea in the mind of Judas and Judas embraced it?
A
Most Bible experts say Judas was probably not demon possessed. They say the description sounds more like Satanic influence, such as an inner nudging to do something wrong. It’s perhaps a bit like the feeling we get when our conscience tells us to do something right or something wrong. In this case, Judas was enticed to betray Jesus.

What gets me about the whole thing is Satan didn’t realize Jesus would rise from the dead and went ahead to tell Judas a known thief to betray Jesus. Did Satan not know all the people that Jesus raised from the dead God wouldn’t raise Jesus too. I’m Guessing God put blinders on Satan so he couldn’t put two and two together.
