THIRTY-SEVEN IS THE DIVINE NUMBER. I have just 37 more Bible chapters to go, and I’ll be finished with the Beta edition of The Casual English Bible,® from Genesis to Revelation.
So, how about a fun song?
I think we’re going to be adding some original music to The Casual English Bible.®
We’ll start with Psalm 23, and a song we can sing and boogie till we die. The song isn’t posted on the site at the moment, but we’re working on getting it there.
I created this song with The Casual English Bible® lyrics and AI music. It took about an hour to produce the sound I wanted. To get here, I had to wade through several genres of music, including Crazy Country, Melancholy World, and Pumped Up on Something.
Here’s the song I finally managed to wrestle out of AI:
Lord is my shepherd (Casual English Bible Psalm 23)
You’re welcome.
A music video by Steve for Dog Lovers
I Never Wanted a Dog
Here’s a link to a video that every dog owner who has ever lived would enjoy. Slight hyperbole.
The music is a demo that we’ll be working on producing as soon as we can. I think it could be a hit if we can get the right country singer to “Sang” it. See what you think. If you’ve got contacts with country, doggone it use them. This song needs a human with a pair of golden chords, or maybe it’s cords.
This is Buddy’s story with Steve’s family
If you’ve been following me for a few years, you know a little about Buddy. Choking from laryngeal paralysis took him from us. These are scenes from Buddy’s life under my roof and on my grass and in our hearts.
How lucky we were to have his barking presence close by for almost a decade.
But it wasn’t enough.
Someday I’ll let you hear the song I wrote about my anger with God. In the meantime, if anger with God is your topic, read Job. He was angry. God tore into him pretty hard for it, but seemed to understand, as the writer told the story. God restored Job’s wealth and gave him more children. Keep in mind, though, that many scholars say Job’s story is fictional, like a long parable. In which case we wouldn’t want to use Job and an example of how to argue with God. Fiction or not, Job lost the debate as soon as God showed up.
Peace to you.
