HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome to 2019.
May God have mercy on us all, and give us the desire, the drive, and the determination to make our little corners of the world kinder.
I wrapped up 2018 by working up a five-minute video about the Trinity.
It was my son, the digital marketing guy, who challenged me to make the video shorter than my typical videos.
Strangely, it felt like it took just as much time to produce a short video as it did the longer ones.
I’ll premiere the video at 8 pm Central Time on New Year’s Day. There’s a chat feature that runs with it if you’d like to spend a few minutes live in a chat.
Here’s the link, which should work at 8 pm on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, Trinity in 5 Minutes.
I typically say goodbye in my videos and my letters and emails with “Peace to you.”
I know it sounds so 1960s, but that’s the last time I remember the entire nation feeling the kind of extended sense of unease as we’re feeling now.
I’m praying for a sense of at least relative well-being to return to our nation and to nations around the world during this time of high anxiety.
I don’t think I’m the only one feeling it. If I am, let me know because there’s medication for that. There’s no pill for what 2018 has felt like.
Peace to you.
Robert Myers
